    Gammon

Out in force in London today.

    Absolute state of them.

I wonder if LOM and/or Snaggles have gone up for the day.

Thought this was a thread about Steve Gammon.....through the youth setup in the early sixties...great player..career ended by a broken leg in a vicious foul by Dennis Law.

I note he played 300+ games for Kettering Town in six years. Very impressive if true, whilst also being manager mind, so maybe he just picked himself?

My Dad said you could hear the crack of his leg breaking from the grandstand. Along with most who were there, forever more Law was a nasty thug..

That is true, I was there on the Bob Bank and you could hear the break all over the ground, he was cynically fouled by Law at the Canton end.
Sorry end to what would have been a fantastic career, a superb wing half.

I just watched the news - it seems The Gammon's beef (pun intended) was that Pro Palestine supporters that are out every Saturday can shout what they want and The plod will stop a man - for being "openly Jewish" from crossing a road near the Palestinian marchers etc.

The Gammon's on the other hand were not allowed to protest etc - is that the rough plot ?.

ps - If Gammon's became a religion and fundamentalist like ISIS / Al Queda - I bet you wouldnt be calling them Gammon's then

It seems they kicked off because the police stopped them shouting and swearing at ethnic minorities. Now that’s a hate march.

And St David's miracle was for the land to rise up beneath him in a Welsh village. The concept of patron saints) is clearly absolute nonsense and totally meaningless.
