Which players were these? Ramsey had been out for a few games, O'Dowda even longer before Bulut changed things and went all defensive. Oddly, we were winning games without those two and playing some decent stuff, until he changed things, we found goals difficult to come by but shipped them in at the back at a higher rate than before.

Ramsey and O'Dowda, it took teams a few weeks to understand how much we were weaker without them and work out how to stop us.

:hehe: I'm weak reading this! In all the years of this board I've read some bullshit but this is right up there.

So professional footballers in one of the strongest divisions in world football can't spot weaknesses if certain players aren't there? Ever thought of stand up?

You're just being a pedantic nit-picking idiot, yes it takes teams a few weeks to suss out teams' tactics and use it to their advantage, you always hear pundits saying how certain teams have found a way to beat another team, it's basic stuff, maybe stick to stats ?

We'd won just one game before O'Dowda got injured, and that was a 2-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday courtesy of an injury time penalty.

We'd won two games before Ramsey got injured - Sheffield and Swansea.

                Give your head a wobble.

It's not being pedantic at all. You suggested it would take a couple of weeks for teams to work out how to play us without Ramsey and O'Dowda. I reckon that's nonsense.

We were playing well, Rambo was class at Swansea and was just finding his feet, we missed them, they would have made a difference., they are two decent players.

That's somewhat different to your earlier claim, which was: "It took teams a few weeks to understand how much we were weaker without them and work out how to stop us."

Do you genuinely believe they only knew this info because some poster on MB with about 30 regular users posted a thread on it?

If you look closely at what he says he talks himself around in circles half the time

The fact that they're talking means that its probable that Bulut will stay, and I expect an announcement shortly. Although the football has been dire, I think he has probably achieved his targets, so probably deserves another season. Someone on here suggested that the 'sliding scale' of FFP means we should have more to spend this season, and if that's the case, we might be able to invest in a striker or two. It could make all the difference.

The irony of you, of all people, bleating about injured players is not lost on me.

                                Ebou who?
