    You are re-writing history. The government jumped on the ‘clap the NHS workers’ bandwagon long after it had started. And from what I saw most health (and other essential) workers appreciated a gesture of support and solidarity - even if they wanted a pay rise more than a clap!

      Wasn't it a public social media initiative based around what had been happening in Italy and other parts of Europe?

          Propaganda, otherwise the NHS would be in a better place now, not worse with doctors and nurses pleading for pay rises and 6/7 million on waiting lists.
