Sorry, on second thoughts that reply was not called for.

Looks like you’re yet again using my reply to suit your agenda. Nobody was mocking it , it was merely pointed out that it was a government propaganda exercise . It was also pointed out that If they really cared about the NHS then we wouldn’t have waiting lists of 6/7 million , huge delays in operating times and strike action for pay most definitely deserve.Hope that helps.
If you think differently then that’s also your prerogative but not everyone thinks like you.

I've got friends on social media, some of whom fall into one general category. Not sure how you'd name this category, but if they were ever to share some pointless meme on Facebook, they'd be things like, not that I'm saying everyone subscribes to everything in this list:

    Muslims being offended by poppies
False nonsense about our Military and Armed Forces not being appreciated
Stop the boats, ban immigration (mainly of muslims)
    Support Brexit
Why can't we use Christmas and Easter, even when they aren't religious at all
    How much foreign aid costs
    The workshy
    Bollocks to the environment
    Dripford
    Anything anti-Labour
Welsh friends who are Pro-British to the point of almost being anti-Welsh and dislike anything anyone in Wales does ever, that Britain is the only important country in the world
Freedom of speech (usually to allow discrimination), usually coupled with comments about people being offended by certain old fashioned types of inappropriate humour.

If anyone was going to post anti Greta Thunberg stuff, it's that sort of demographic, not that they all do, nor are those who post anti-Greta stuff do subscribe to that list. It's also possibly true that those who aren't bothered by the above list are accepting of what she and other environmentalists do. I accept that it's certainly not a case of one or the other.

No amount of ‘critical thinking’ by you or the rest of the tinfoil hatters can alter the fact that banging pots and pans in appreciation of the health workers during 2020 was not ‘government propaganda’. It was a public initiative. Simple as that.

I think if you don’t get it by now , which you don’t , you never will.

Even if the clapping was spontaneously done, it was frowned upon if any neighbour decided not to do it, even if that was their choice ( you know what people in a democratic society are entitled to do)

The NHS was used as a propaganda machine, and in some respects always has been, so I’m not sure where you can’t join up the dots.

Hope that helps you once again precious, and I’m assuming you’re still clapping every Thursday, this time for better pay and conditions etc etc

Yet another Conservative magazine looking for a different angle. They say you're never more than 6 feet away from a rat in London - you're never more than 6 clicks away from a contrary right wing opinion piece.

Happy to help, but the writer is entitled to his opinion , besides, I’m not sure what the Conservative Party has to do with this as Wales Labour runs ours , which is in fine fettle.

How about this piece by a leading cancer specialist

Of course. But the entire point of all these right wing opinion "magazines" is to obfuscate.

BTW, I didn't realise that clapping the NHS was devolved - Labour's fault in Wales. That's a belter, fair play.

You knew exactly what I meant , but good try bro.

Now , if you could stay on track with the post , rather than go off onto something unrelated that would be great.

I did. You were talking about propaganda and provided a link. I was commenting on the source of your opinion. I think that's staying on track.

You went off talking about Labour and the NHS in Wales. Not sure how that was related to my comment on your opinion source.

You have my sympathy, genuinely. It must be difficult to live in such a constant state of fear.

    How is that telling?
I’ve just had a gutsfull of the culture wars stuff that is incredibly divisive and I’m trying to point out that it takes two to tango.

I was proud to see my father in the uk doing the pots and pans thing and thought it very touching.
No idea how you find that telling.

Did you see that I apologised ten minutes or so later and said my post had been uncalled for?

It was a decent conversation before the looneys joined in.
I couldn't walk in support of Palestine after watching the program of the day they attacked innocent people in Israel . That said the justice dished out has been totally barbaric.
