The biggest reason to get rid of it for me is that it shows us that no matter what any of the authorities do, human error will always exist in football, from anyone and everyone who enters the field of play, and thank the lord for that. i feel sorry for officials, some of the decisions they're supposed to come on the right side of are almost impossible to judge. There's way too much nuance involved. So, pundits, journalists, fans, players and all of the rest in between, have your moan when a decision goes against you, but be mindful that it's just one person out there making decisions (if Var is scrapped) and respect it. Mistakes are a part of the game as much as goals, corners and throw ins are. If you're on the end of a poor shout, suck it up, that's life.
