    Re: Fury/Usyk

Not sure if Cordina had an off night, or if he’s had his limitations exposed.

      Cordina stopped.
      Outworked and out punched.
Naive in not taking a rest.

But again the ref heavily messed up.
      Totally changed the fight IMO.
Maybe Joe goes up a weight now, horrible night for him.

      Props to Cacace though.

Weight drained maybe, but also a fair reflection of his level.
The bloke has been an IBF world champion though and well done to him.

Dead at the weight. He was a punchbag after the first two rounds. Surprised it lasted as long as it did the amount of clean shots he took.

Not a great performance at all.

Not sure why the pundits were making out that the warning Cacace received for the late punch was so key.

At one point I thought Cordina strategy was let him wear himself out but it became obvious in about the sixth that he was well out of his depth.

            Edit: Amazing atmosphere though eh

I certainly think that it was a factor.
Essentially Cordina took a big, free flush punch to the jaw.
After that Cacace wasn’t sent to a neutral corner and jumped straight on Cordina.

              Really really bad officiating.

Joe looked comfortable and sharp enough before that and despite Framptons opinion…it’s not like Cacace is particularly heavy handed.

              Atmosphere is beyond appalling!

                I agree with this ^^

Took far too many punches to the jaw prior to that though for me.

This boy singing in the glass cage. Whats that all about ?
Just get the 2 fighters in the ring and get on with it.

                        any streams ? ? ?

personally, think Tyson will be too big for him, he looks in decent shape and is taking it serious

Can’t see it, but I hope Usyk can do it.
