    All time league table

I think I did this a few years ago. This is simply an average of every teams' league position in the entire tier, allowing for the division a team is in. So, when we finished 18th in the top division, that counts as 18th. This season we finished 12th, which was 32nd across all the divisions. In 1996, we finished 22nd in the bottom division, so that was 90th in the league. It's simply an average of all those positions. Current league teams only, non-league seasons not included.

Since promotion in 2003, we're ranked 25th in those 21 years in terms of average position, ahead of several bigger names.

    Re: All time league table

This is a slightly different way of looking at it

    https://www.englishfootballleaguetab...ts/totals.html

It shows clubs by their overall match performance since 1888 - in this example by total games won. There's a couple of other options at the top - by points, and also the 'average gate' tab is interesting - the top 9 of all time best average attendances include the top 8 who finished this PL season.
