Well that was a win-win or lose-lose game - the two sides I didn't want to get to the final.

On balance the best side won, and I'm happier to see Leeds pain than the other lot.

Of the Leeds team, only Dan James can be satisfied with his day out.

Russell Martin to be sacked before December (hopefully).

us jacks wouldn't see a penny of that 5 million quid and our ex manager who we still love for obvious reasons finally gets a job that he deserves after our owners taking the piss. Anything that embarrasses our greedy useless yank owners the better. A good day all round.

Normally I'd want Leeds to lose, but with Ampadu, Rodon, James & Roberts in their team, maybe from a Wales perspective view it would have been better if they won, with premiership football for the Welsh contingent.

Apparently they turned down a huge bid from Southampton for Nathan Wood.

Hes in the last year of his contract and hes been told he can be sold.

Problem is hes not worth anywhere near what they turned down.

Normally I'd want Leeds to lose, but with Ampadu, Rodon, James & Roberts in their team, maybe from a Wales perspective view it would have been better if they won, with premiership football for the Welsh contingent.

With the Ipswich lads it would have been 6 or 7 players, plus the Leicester goalkeeper (if you can count him as he hardly plays).

They might not have stayed or got games. James was on the bench today. Roberts will go back to Burnley. Rodon is on loan from Spurs and they'll probably send him away again next year. Might have been good for Ampadu.

Don’t think todays losers will be title favourites next season, with the 3 coming down involved.

No. In 2019/20 City were rated 4th favourites going into the campaign. Leeds were favourites and they won it. Fulham were second favourites and they went up via the play-offs. West Brom were rated third-best. They finished second.
