Thread: Euro 24

    Euro 24

    Two questions:

Who do you think will win?
Who would you bet to win?

I haven't got a clue on first question, too many questions about all the top teams for me. But at the prices, I've had a go on Belgium at 25/1. Quite like the Netherlands at 20s aswell

    Think England will win it.

Will bet on England to win it.

    Hopefully I lose some money.

England are bottlers for me...i think France or outer mongolia will snatch it

To be fair, England have a pretty good side at the moment, and they surely have to be looking at reaching the Final. But like Total says, they seem to go all wobbly when the finish line is in sight, and you can see them losing out to France, or even Belgium.

    England should win

England have another fantastic chance to win it, but think their centre backs will let them down. Elsewhere on the pitch, their front 6 are the best in the competition.
I'll bet on Italy though as I think they're great value.

You've got to spell it properly, it's Ingerlund

    Portugal.
I’ve had a hefty wager on Portugal at 8/1.

England best midfield and attack in world football but their defence and goalkeeper not good enough.

Starting 11 I think there's a few teams that can challenge England, but in terms of squad depth especially in midfield and attack, England really should be winning it. As others have said, left back and to a lesser extent center back might be their achilles heel, and I still think Southgate is a very backwards looking manager. Here's hoping they feck it up again.

France have a better starting XI and incredible depth to the point that there are some top level players with less than 15 caps. They've been there and done it and have a genuine gamechanging world class talent in Mbappe, they ought to be favourites

Bellingham isn't a genuine gamechanging world class talent?

He's very good, obviously, but I don't think he's at Mbappe's level yet

Different kind of players too, Mbappe is one of those few players who can pick it up from almost anywhere and you're thinking he might score. Look at the World Cup final, France were shit until Mbappe dragged them back into the game and they should have won it at the end.

I think England are better than France, but they have a shit manager.
