Given the choice of stability or another shot in the dark next season, I'm not too displeased that Bulut has got the contract extension he wanted. If he is fully backed by Tan, there can be no excuses from the manager if he fails to meet expectations. An improved league position and more positive football would be a good start. Just glad they've got the deal over the line.
Without throwing about generalisations, although I will for the purpose of your post. People who use Twitter are almost certainly younger and more positive than the majority of miserable old, frustrated bastards who use this board. I didn't want him, but glad it's sorted.
I think it’s reasonable to assume by the time it took to get the deal sorted that Vincent Tanand Erol Bulut do not exactly see eye to eye on the way the club develops. That makes me wonder if the stability you talk about will last that long. Steve Morison was sacked less than a fortnight after Vincent Tan signed off on a transfer that cost 1.5 million, money that no one thought we had to spend at that time. It would not surprise me at all if Erol Bulut is gone quite early into the new season even if results don’t seem that bad to most of us.
Surely you don't think that it's just a few people that have been critical of our style of play last season? I know loads who are of that opinion, even some of those who support Bulut on social media have said the side needs to be more attacking. Hell, even you suggested that earlier today.
He will get paid up and some point, I don’t see him here 3 years.
Here’s to hoping to seeing improvement next season.
Can't believe people actually want him to continue. What games were they watching last season? The only good thing is it can't get any worse.
Great news .
Looking forward to seeing his new line in Cardigans along with his new funded line up .
