As expected and stated on an alternate thread, the response to this on social media has been overwhelmingly positive.

Proof the echo chamber that is CCMB does not represent the wider fan base. ‘Split fan base’ or whatever words the trust used my arse.

For every ETHB and TLG there are 2 or 3 others that accept things are what they are and things could be a lot worse

If he is fully backed by Tan, there can be no excuses from the manager if he fails to meet expectations. An improved league position and more positive football would be a good start. Without throwing about generalisations, although I will for the purpose of your post. People who use Twitter are almost certainly younger and more positive than the majority of miserable old, frustrated bastards who use this board. I didn't want him, but glad it's sorted.

I think it’s reasonable to assume by the time it took to get the deal sorted that Vincent Tanand Erol Bulut do not exactly see eye to eye on the way the club develops. That makes me wonder if the stability you talk about will last that long. Steve Morison was sacked less than a fortnight after Vincent Tan signed off on a transfer that cost £1.5 million, money that no one thought we had to spend at that time. It would not surprise me at all if Erol Bulut is gone quite early into the new season even if results don’t seem that bad to most of us.

It can get worse, as well as watching boring football we could lose more and finish the season much lower than 12th
