Wait until they announce the captain for the game against Slovakia, some people are going to have a meltdown

Not sure how Liam Cullen gets in ahead of others who have had better seasons. Also shame Terry Taylor is injured so won't get his first full cap - he one of a few young midfielders who could be regulars in years to come.

With names like Charlie Crew and Terry Taylor being mentioned, it sounds more like a retro Seventies side.

As for Josh Sheehan, I'd genuinely never heard of him before this thread.

In this day and age, international friendlies are daft at the best of times, but Gibraltar v Wales at this time of year? Good grief...

I'm surprised my Nan didn't make the starting line-up, although she is on the bench.

This has got a whiff of classic 90s Wales 1-1 draw...hope I'm wrong

At the stadium where we won the coveted ‘Algarve Cup’ ! ….Great trip.

I think they had to play these games for some reason, some bizarre UEFA rule

Burns and Matondo are absolutely rapid, strange to think we developed both of those considering our general lack of pace

A bit disappointing we've not picked Mark Harris or Isaak Davies, Cullen is too slight to lead the line

It's not a great game. We need to get around the sides of their mass defence and get more people in the box on the end of the crosses

Exactly the sort of low key, slow paced affair you’d expect an end of season game between Gibraltar and what could almost be called Wales thirds to be. 0-0 at half time, with Gibraltar pretty comfortable- Cullen forced the keeper into a save and there have been chances from corners, but Cabango has been showing why he never seems to score against anyone else but City.

The only bit of excitement being Sheehan's red card challenge - he was lucky it's a friendly

I do not rate Matondo at all

    Glad he’s been taken off

Not the best hour of football I've ever witnessed.
Hopefully the 3 subs will save us from an embarrassing result.

This midfield 2 is less inspiring than Cardiff's, no forward drive at all

How has Cullen avoided getting hooked?

Would've kept Colwill on, with the pace and better movement of James and Johnson, and someone to cross to in the box now.
