I think a decent manager could make a team out of our player pool but Page isn't a decent manager. When he is finally ousted from the Wales Manager role I'd be amazed if he ended up as a manager in the football league.

I've no clue what Page's transition plan is.
Doubt whether they do, their seasons would've finished weeks ago, and they've had to continue training, eating into their holiday time before they go back for pre-season, for two meaningless friendlies.

The midfield and forwards he has starting tonight are far better than mid league 1, outside of Sheehan could probably get you out of the Championship. Defensively it’s a problem and I’m not even sure where the Welsh goalie who plays regularly highest up the league pyramid is… does Chris Maxwell still start in league one?
Even with all the limitations this squad is far better than they’ve shown this window though, he’s an absolutely shite manager and way out of his depth.

Ampadu was the worst player on the pitch, and to make matters worse our midfield was non-existent. What is Page trying to do?
Slovakia are going to the Euros and they were well up for it, while our lot looked like they were already on the beach.

I know nothing about Josh Sheehan, but i presume his club form has been decent for him to get the call up. Isn't that how International Football works? Young Players are showing potential, but they could well end up at League 1 level themselves in a few years, who knows. I'm not defending Page, i actually don't really care that much about Wales, But if he's picked a player on Form in a friendly then what's the problem. We don't have a huge pool of players.
