Very much a home game for the Turks.

Surely keeper should have done better with that equaliser! Another good game...

Georgia equalise. Neat finish. Would be nice to see the underdog triumph, especially in that hostile atmosphere.

1-1, another lovely goal, but the keeper maybe should have done better.

This is the best half of football in the tournament so far I’d say.

Both footed. Electric pace. A brilliant crosser. Threads the ball behind the lines with perfect weight when he plays from deep. Dribbling skills that must be close to the best on the planet. Can header the ball like a bullet. Deadly from free kicks. He can hammer the shot from distance with either foot. 15 goals in 30 international games, in a relatively poor international team. 6 foot tall, strong as an ox and he works hard to track back and tackle. For me, the complete attacking player.

This boy will light up this group for sure. If you aint seen him before, crack open a beer, order your favourite take-away, and enjoy the personal performance of a generational talent. This man is a class act. He is The Tits.
Is he on the pitch ?

Georgia hit the bar, it would have been a fourth brilliant goal of the match.

Agreed, 2-2 would have been fair.

Cracking game. Georgia showed some real quality and were unlucky not to get that equaliser.

Glad it went ahead after the flooding and fighting threatened to see it called off.

What a great game but such a shame that Georgia didn't get the point their play deserved. Boy did they miss some chances.

When I see teams play as fluently as this I have to keep checking to see if Wales are still in the top 100 ! Based on ball skills and fluidity of movement alone we are a million miles from where we need to be to compete with these nations.

Page should have been fired after that game. When Guler came on as a sub we gave him the freedom of the park. Being the curious type, I googled him after the final whistle and within seconds I found a number of carbon copies of that exact same goal, and a report that he had already agreed a move to Real Madrid. It makes you wonder what type of prep Page and his team do before a match if they had no clue about that trademark goal of his.

Erol Bulut think Cian Ashford can be valued as highly as Arda Guler

Portugal made very hard work of beating the Czechs. Not sure if they've got the cutting edge of some of the other teams.

....And Martinez has morphed into The Hood from Thunderbirds.

Has it stopped raining at all in Germany since the tournament started?

Martinez's tactics were diabolical. I'd say tigers don't change their stripes but he has the killer instinct of a duck.
