    Bloody Seagulls

Anyone else sick of them yet? Everywhere around me at the moment with their horrible squeaky kids.

I also don't like Brighton much.

It doesn't need to be discarded food - the blighters will snatch it from your hand.

Well said Jeeps, they're sea birds, if we weren't such filthy buggers they wouldn't be bothering us.

The pigeons we see (and all love) are actually Rock Doves, the real Pigeons are wood pigeons.

    Re: Bloody Seagulls

There's only one Seagull I like and it does a nice Sunday Roast for Ł10.99.

All the rest I'd like to cull.

And that feeding can attract rats.

So best to issue your neighbours with a gentle warning before your over run by vernom.

I feel sorry for the neighbours too the right who have bird shirt everywhere because of feeding and they have kids etc. I've started to shoot them with my https://bbguns4less.co.uk/.

If that fails poison the buggers..

Its not right if your rights are infringed and have this noisy dirty problem.

They’re Herring Gulls. I learned about this stuff on the BBC World service. People should listen to a proper radio and learn something. I think it was in an episode of The archers repeat circa 1935.

I live near the coast and they are a right pain on black bag day, especially as we aren’t allowed wheelie bins in the vale, so black bags ripped up every 3 weeks.

Spray them with vinegar (the bags, not the gulls)

    Re: Bloody Seagulls

If they nest on your roof you've had it they are so noisy, I wouldn't let them nest on my roof, thankfully not too many up here yet the crows and rooks see them off!

    Re: Bloody Seagulls

One company I worked for had a huge problem with seagulls.
They hired someone who came along with a Saker falcon.
As much as a nuisance the gulls were, I didn't relish the idea of one picking apart a screeching gull.
Well it never did. In fact, the seagulls used to just climb to extraordinary heights, circle around and they knew that they were safe as long as they stayed above the falcon.
One of these falcons flew off and never returned to its handler (apparently they're migratory).
