    Plaid Cymru had a councilor in Ely as recently as 2019. Plaid consistently secure a good vote in council elections in both Ely and Caerau.

    I was present at the count last Thursday and our vote was around 15% in Caerau and 18%in Ely. Certain polling districts in those wards saw Plaid's support at around 25%.

    ...and all of the areas you've mentioned have had Plaid Cymru councillors in the past fifteen years.
