He's talking bollox about there being no criticism about Bulut's style last season (he only had to look on here to see that - he spends too much time on Twitter).

Surprised we're only "one of the lowest Xgs", I assumed we were the worst by some distance.

Think the talk about a transition in style is a bit of a red herring, there were definitely signs of one pre season, but, apart from the first half an hour or so at Burnley, I've not seen any evidence of one in our league games - it's been just like watching last season except we're not scoring from dead ball situations.

I don't listen to these self proclaimed pundits. Problem is how much of our games have they ACTUALLY watched and how much are they just regurgitating public opinion and using some stats to sound like they know what they're talking about.

Regarding the transition of style - I cannot find the information relating to interceptions for and against but to me, we certainly look like we put ourselves under pressure more. Although annoyingly on the face of it we actually seem better and slightly more entertaining than last season.

No one is actually talking about the detail. That's why I love the coverage of the Premier League, as professionals far smarter than i'll ever be analyse the game in much better detail. Again, to me we're getting dragged out of shape and position way too easily. Siopis gets criticism but I think rightly so, he gets dragged into the ball far far too often, and it's not just him. Chambers has escaped critisism when he's been pulled about just as easy.

I've been quite a big critic of Bulut, and he must take a big proportion of the blame as no one seems to know their roles 100%, but some of our errors are basic and the players must also take a share. We all know we're crap and predictable offensively, trying to exploit the wings with little end product and a slow midfield, but look at some of the positions we have put ourselves in defensively too.

We are dire , the football is garbage to watch , he's sent young players on ridiculous loans and we are now useless at set plays.

We are clearly a lot worse than last season and in serious trouble. Can they employ a new manager good enough to keep us up.? I doubt it but this guy will just cause further damage.

I think this is a bit of an overreaction.

I think we will stay up with or without a new manager.

remember when we won 8 in a row under Mick McCarthy? - that didn't make him a good manager then and then within a year became a terrible manager playing 5 centre backs.

But without set play goals we would have been a lot lower down the league last season.

We now offer close to zero threat from them. That equals trouble.

I think a lot of people looked at the table and automatically assumed Bulut had achieved wonders - Dalman included. Didn't 45% of our goals last season come from set pieces ? That would make us scoring 29 goals from open play. I don't know about this 'Xg' stuff, but that statistic probably sums City up in a nutshell..

I'm not disputing that. My point is that they could have finished us off before we levelled. It echoed several games last season where we were utter rubbish but somehow went into the final stages at only one goal down. A Swansea side from the previous few seasons wouldn't have taken their foot off the gas as this season's did.

The guy is right - We can't score, can't pass, can't defend, and can't win. If this goes on for too much longer, we'll see another managerial change shortly, and then it'll start all over again. Perhaps we should start talking about who we'd like to replace Bulut. I bet Lamouchi is sat by the phone, waiting for the call. Too soon?
