His father was a tennis player as well, seems he was banned from tournaments like Wimbledon for being a professional in the 50 and 60s.

That’s a really interesting Obituary tbh and I love that when his tennis was interrupted by WW2 he became a pilot and won the DFC. Seems he was well ahead of his time too in terms of professionalism and training. Died at 96 too!
