I did find this from Dalman on Bulut though (from last October):
'Football-wise he's the most tactically-oriented manager I have come across in my time here as chairman. He's quite funky, can spot and change tactics as the game goes on, and generally that's not something I feel we've seen too much of here before. He's changed the style of football, for the better, has a good eye for players, spots potential in the younger ones as we've seen with Tanner, is a football obsessive who works incredibly hard."
What's Dalmans relationship with football though? Has he been a die hard fan of the game all his life? How would he know which manager was tactically aware. To be honest I don't want a car salesman having any input on the football side of things.

Exactly. This is why we need a full time CEO with experience of successfully running a football club and a director of football.

Drop the quotation marks as surely you've made that up.

This "lack of fight" thing is such bollocks. It totally lets the manager off the hook.

If youre playing incredibly negative, lifeless, keep ball with players who are under pressure and either bang out of form or just not good enough, youre going to get beat no matter how much you run around and kick people. If anything the likes of Siopis and Ng could do with being calmer, rather than running around like headless chickens.

They don’t believe in what they’re doing. They’re stuck playing a style that they know doesn’t work. It must be soul destroying to play in.

Having said all that, think for yourself. Take some ownership, Bulut and his coaches are clueless but the players can and should be doing better.

Who recommended Bulut? I’m going to take a wild guess and say his agent.

Buluts only "innovation" is one of the full-backs running diagonally into midfield. So that is a midfield base of Siopis, Ralls, and either NG to Bagan to outman their midfield, so that is 3 stoppers trying to string a ball to double-manned Ramsey/Colwell who both do better when allowed to drop deeper losing their markers.

It is so basic its frightening he thinks is passable
