    He was never our player and he was never going to sign a permanent deal with us.

    At the beginning of his loan with us. Then he really started to get his game together.

    Seen him a few times for England U21 and he looked very good

    Watford just about coped. They beat us 2-1.

    I loved watching Philogene while he was here - one of the few pleasures during a seriously drab campaign. He was erratic, though. He often seemed to want to beat his man two or three times and could be frustrating, but his influence grew as the season progressed.

    Philogene only started 25 of City's 46 league games in 2022/23. He definitely became much more important as the season wore on, which was understandable considering he was only 20 years old at the time.

    I remember he started slow with us, but by the end of the season he was probably our best player.

    I actually thought he was **** when he first joined. But agree with you he showed his quality towards end of season.

    I think he has the skinniest legs of any player that's played for us

    Yeah I know it was unfortunate that the other 10 players were very playable
