    Live on Sky Sports +

    Match Officials:

    Referee: Andrew Kitchen

Unless things change in the few days we will still have Omer Riza in charge at the beginning of a week that sees games at home to Plymouth and Portsmouth before an away trip to WBA on Saturday week.

Wayne Rooney will be missing from the away dug out after being sent off during Plymouth's last game.

good, looking forward to this, Plymouth are great going forward and not great at the back.

I would go with the same team that started against Bristol with the exception of Daland in for Chambers and Willock for El Ghazi

Rarely confident before any match. My recollections of matches v the Argyle aren't happy ones.
Can see a draw, but not much more.

Colwill was apparently ill over the weekend and missed a friendly u21 match. Hopefully he will be fit. If he is, I don't expect any changes.

I'd also replace El Ghazi for Willock and Chambers for Daaland.

Definitely go with Daaland over Chambers
El Ghazi needs match time to get back to full match fitness, although we haven’t seen anything from him yet, I still have hope there’s a quality footballer there

It's probably one of the shorter away trips for them

The fact that they had huge interest and snapped up 3200 tickets shows what great away support they have

I'd do anything to get away from Plymouth if I lived there as well.

When you've been in this division for nye on 20 years and have done some grounds 10 or 15 times the novelty wears off.

That's true in our case and maybe other clubs too but plymouth have tremendous away support , they take big followings everywhere

It's a heck of a trek from down there and their Cornwall based fans are even further away

Very easy to travel away if you are a Midlands based club like Birmingham or Coventry ......even the big away trips are just a few hours away

Plymouth , Sunderland .....bloody miles from anywhere

To be fair. We’re bloody miles from anywhere too. I’m assuming we’d be the 5th furthest travelling team behind the 2 mentioned, Boro and Swansea.

I don’t think there’s more than 2 away games within a 100 mile drive of Cardiff.

With Sunderland, the 2 Sheffield teams and Leeds back in the league, Boro actually have 4 semi close away days this season. If they do have further to travel than us, I can’t imagine there’s much in it at all.

We must be one of their closer away games along with the Wurzels and Portsmouth although the route to Portsmouth may not be as straightforward

I’ve fallen asleep for about 4 hours on the coach going to Swansea away, woke up and still not there. I reckon Swansea is about 350 miles from Cardiff!!!!

We are their second closest game, just a bit closer than Portsmouth.

About 3.5 hours to us and about 4 hours to Portsmouth.
Partly because the transport network on this country is so focused on London.

I dread to think what the Plymouth vs Sunderland games must be like for away fans - 9 hours each way?

Cardiff to Birmingham ....2 hrs 30 mins

Birmingham , West Brom , Coventry , Derby , Stoke are a pretty good trip for us

Plymouth trips to Burnley, Preston etc are a long trek

Boro , Sunderland , Leeds , Hull .....huge trips

I think all loyal away fans are the salt of tge earth , it's fantastic dedication and essentially a young man's game

For years I've thought they should build a whopping great motorway diagonally across the country, between say Swindon and Norwich, would have helped in so many journeys

I think we're generally 4th/5th in terms of longest distance most seasons

You're right what you say about Brum etc, yeh great support but its simpler to travel when you're a Midlands club, same for a lot of the south Yorkshire teams too

Yes derby , Wednesday , United etc pretty central

Brum Coventry etc taking 2500 to stoke , derby , Sheffield clubs is a walk in the park

Us , the unshaven , Plymouth together with Sunderland and boro and pompey all have a hike

It's real loyalty those that do it and those that have done it hats off to them

It's no surprise that most away fans tend to be young to middle age without a tribe of kids

    Or a wife

quite the opposite in my case, I travelled away every fortnight into my late 30's/early 40's specifically to get away from my wife and kids after a stressful work week..
