Fair enough I agree, my personal preference is experience at this club as it's a difficult job and you have to be able to manage up to Tan and Dalman but it would be wrong to discard all inexperienced Managers
My doubts about Riza are not so much his inexperience alone; it's that he is just a caretaker having a good start. He wouldn't have even had a mention if it wasn't for this caretaker role. However, he's getting a chance to see what he can do, and so far, he has impressed, he's favourite now and it's his job to lose.
As for the last bit, almost certainly!
And remember, doing so was your choice despite your previous statements to the contrary. You simply can’t help yourself. And you’ve chosen to make it personal once again, which wasn’t very clever.
Your sudden enthusiasm for Omer Riza is amusing considering it was only days ago you were claiming City needed a ‘Warnock type’ to rescue the season. Not only is Riza pretty much the polar opposite to a ‘Warnock type’ in terms of experience and managerial style, but the football he’s encouraging the team to play is also nothing like the kind of football you continually champion.
However, nobody should be surprised by your sudden u-turn. You are, after all, among the most clueless contributors this board has ever had when it comes to football (or anything else, for that matter). Despite your continual presence on CCMB, you genuinely don’t have the first idea about the sport you occasionally watch. And never have had.
Throughout last season, the summer months and at the start of this season your backing for Erol Bulut was unequivocal, and anyone who dared to voice any misgivings about Bulut’s tactics, team selections or man-management was a target for your scorn. Subsequent events have demonstrated that you were once again making a complete fool of yourself, but you’re never going to admit that. Just like you won’t admit you made an idiot of yourself throughout 2022/23 as you continually maintained the team would be relegated despite the fact that it was never actually in the relegation zone.
Your backing for Riza and Bulut before him is no surprise given the fact that you’ll back absolutely anyone the club employs to manage the team. It’s just what you do, regardless of who is put in charge, whether it be Morison, McCarthy, Harris, etc. And that’s because you very rarely watch the team play and therefore don’t have any genuine opinions of your own. You just flood this message board with your inane rubbish day after day because CCMB is such a significant part of your life.
I’ll leave the last word to you as I know you’re going to have it anyway. You always do. 44,430 posts is evidence enough of that – a quite staggering total considering some of your lengthy absences. On and on and on he goes…
I think Riza has done OK but he's had a run of easier games ( on paper) and I don't think he's done anything that even I couldn't see needed to happen.
In truth it's Buluts leaving that's been the catalyst for our upturn not Rizas coming in.
I think a bloke like you pulling apart someone he doesn't know who is the manager of Cardiff City in the way you did by calling Riza a chancer , among other things , sums you up
You made a right tit of yourself there
The absence of your gob for a couple of days after he shut the likes of you up with the plymouth win again sums you up ......hence I am here to make sure you are aware 😉
So you accusing others of making things personal ......a dig at your bald head is the sort of online teasing you have dished out for years my little friend ......and it used to be funny ......I have been called fatty , stupid and lots of other stuff , it's just teasing 😛.....is cry baby nonsense .....oh he's threatening me 😆
You soppy tart
That’s how I see it, if Riza gets the job, then good luck to him, but let’s see a decent run of performances from him before we go overboard and give him a 5 year contract.
That said, Saturday was a great result and enjoyable to watch from start to finish
Really looking forward to tomorrow night
He's done well generally and has taken an opportunity
His words about wanting the job full time have been jumped on by some but he's got to be given some slack . After all every interview he gives he's thrown that question ....
He seems a decent bloke and there are rumours he's been a popular figure with the squad for some time ?
That being said ten games before we make a decision would make sense I would think 🤔
