It's a long season, we are going to need a lot more than Colwill, Robertson and Turnbull in midfield - I can certainly see a fit ramsey having a lot to offer in this team still.
Likewise ralls.

They don't get a free pass straight back into the team though.

A few months ago I think many fans were looking at Ramsey, Colwill, Turnbull and Robinson as all competing for the No10 shirt (Robinson maybe a No9.5). Now we have got Colwill, Robinson and Turnbull all on the pitch together and in their 'right' positions - all playing well and complementing each other (and El Ghazi, Tanner and Robertson).

If or when Ramsey is fit I can see him slotting in as a No6 - more a creative midfield general or 'quarterback' than a shield for the defence - and maybe even playing in the same side as Robinson, Colwill and Turnbull. But someone would have to be injured or lose form badly for him to get a start.

It's a nice problem for Riza to have.... if Ramsey gets back fit.

It's all very romantic to want to see something from rambo but I think a bit part cameo role is his and our best option

For good reason, if someone was trying to ruin your career maybe with his anti football, just goes to show we had some decent players, either playing with no confidence due to poor mgt, wrong position or just never playing like most of our midfield attacking players now.
Wonder if one day Tan will finally realise the key to this league is a good manager, I won’t hold my breathe…..

You'll get no argument from me. The end justifies the means as far as I'm concerned. I really am shocked at how at how nicely we've been playing the last two games. It's beyond entertaining, it's a pleasure to watch. I always thought we had a pretty decent squad. With a few improvements I think we could really make a challenge next year.
