According to a Coventry fan one of the biggest issues was his refusal to work with a Director of Football so he'd love it here
Got them from promoted from League two and to within a penalty shoot out of promotion to the Premier League, their first silverware for 30 years, and within a ridiculous VAR decision of reaching last years FA Cup final. Then has his best players sold and the first blip hes had they get rid of him. These owners are delusional.
Id gladly take him here.
Go and get him, Vincent
Paul Warne's now the longest serving manager of a championship club - he's been at Derby since September 2022.
Bugger, the new Manager bounce when we play them!
He would do for me.
Did incredibly well with them , did he have any money to spend whilst he was there?
Whoo there
Riza is doing well
In the last two games before last night, Coventry had come back to win after being 2-0 down and won 3-0 away
Pipe down the lot of you
It's like 321 with Ted Rodgers on here
We have a manager
Thank you
Go to bed
Riza out.
If things dont work out ...
Always good to have a plan B
Still CCFC payment into his bank.
Can someone work out how many points per game Riza has got for City versus Robins please![]()
None. Riza has never managed us when we've played a side managed by Mark Robins.
However, if you're trying to make a point that Riza has a better record for us than Robins has had at Coventry on a points per game basis, I would suggest that the new manager bounce and the short time he's been our interim manager would make such a comparison a waste of time.
As an example, Riza is currently one of the top performing City managers of all time. If he's still in that position statistically by the end of next season, we're likely to be playing Champions' League football in 2026/27. I don't expect Riza's start to continue as it has. That is statistically very unlikely.
Well, after today's game, it has to be at least worth giving Robins a call. Six great games, then two poorly managed defeats. We could have been top half by now, instead we're back where we started.
If he doesn’t want to work with a director of football, it’s because he doesn’t want someone interfering with his running of the team. So I doubt he will want to come to us.
