He has improved us and should be given more time but the fact that there’s not been one bit of communication from anyone on the board about his position suggests they are not convinced

I threw Etete's name in the mix because it was mentioned earlier that Colwill and Tanner had no outlet.

yes I'd like to see Etete in a team that manages to get more attackers in the box.
when he's played for us previously he was very isolated (through little fault of his own) and he was on a hiding to nothing.

If Robins fancies the job the club should be doing all they can to bring him in

Saw on Twitter earlier today marks 50 days without a permanent manager

The Etete I remember was very light weight , would get blown over in a gentle breeze.
Lets hope he comes back a rejuvenated speedy centre forward....

That's the Etete I remember too, but he has got a bit of ability. I'd like to see him in the current team given the way they have been trying to play recently. I'm pretty sure he'd be a better option up front than Meite or Kanga. That may not be saying a lot, but if Robinson's going to be in and out of the side, then I reckon Etete's our next best choice, as frustrating as he is

    I agree with that.

Etete also had (last season) a good understanding with Colwill and Tanner. They linked up well.

He looks like the least bad understudy for Robinson.
