His whole life has been acting exactly the opposite to what you may consider are Christian values. It has brought him unimagined success in the final years of his life - why on earth would he change when things couldn't be going much better?
There's a clip of him being interviewed about his 'faith'. They throw him what they consider a softball; what is your favourite verse in the bible and (when he flubs that), are you an Old or New Testament guy? Trump has no idea what to do, and is visibly flustered (an incredible facial expression at 00.20!), not even being aware that the Old and New Testaments are completely different.
