Almost inevitable we’d draw another championship team. Great draw for Tamworth, bit more interesting than our game!
Ah the magic of the cup
crap draw
Just glad we ain't at home versus a small club with 5 thousand rattling around inside the ground and losing.
7 decent ties.
I wish they'd seed it to get more opportunities for giant killing.
Stuffed at Sheffield Wednesday last season, Utd's turn to wallop us this year.
Is it wrong of me to wish Swansea well against Russell Martin?
Shows how shit a draw we had when the thread has quickly moved on to who Swansea drew.
A chance for revenge after they beat us in the FA Cup final in the 1924/25 season. How is that not exciting?!
I remember vividly Sheff Utd beating us 5-1 away in 1971, thus ensuring that they would be promoted to the top tier and not us. I was gutted when I heard the result on the radio. Typical City, we played them away in the FA Cup the following season and won 3-1.
I didn't see the draw, Man City Salford, we will have plenty of coverage of that no doubt.
Awful draw for us.
Anyone else old enough to remember when the Third Round of the FA Cup weekend (all of the games were played on the Saturday) was the most exciting of the season? Remember the days when the so called minnows would celebrate a draw against a top division club because it meant a replay and another big payday?
