I can guess why you started this thread, but maybe this is not the story you expected?

The death and injury toll are terrible and rising, but this does not appear to be a re-run of the 2016 Islamist attack on a German Christmas market:

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/li...087cf068f2e1d0

The man arrested has been identified as Taleb A., a 50-year-old medical doctor from Saudi Arabia.

Saxony-Anhalt’s leader Reiner Haseloff said the man had been living in Germany since 2006. The suspect, a consultant for psychiatry and psychotherapy, was recognised as a refugee in 2016.

Some German media pointed to the suspect’s past social media posts in which he reportedly expressed views critical of Islam and had even warned of the “dangers” of an Islamisation of Germany.

“As things stand, he is a lone perpetrator, so that as far as we know there is no further danger to the city,” Haseloff said.

    -

Der Spiegel reported that the suspect had sympathised with the AfD. The magazine did not say where it got the information.

It's happened just after the German government collapsed and the AFD were gaining in polls. I guess that will be the end of them then.

Not a Musk fan either (except of his engineering excellence) but i do like a laugh at the Soros fan boys having a go at him until he crashes the bank of England, funds regimes who destroy other countries and install regime changes i'll not pile on, for the 1st time in x years the faaaaaar left in America had it their own way with Soros bank rolling everything, now that someone of more wealth has gone faaaaaaar right and is blatantly using his wealth to influence, is going down like a lead balloon he single handedly stopped the 15,000 page Democratic pork bill last week for a 1500 page bill and thus got rid of the Jan 6 committee getting immunity

Musk & JFK Junior have always been democrats, the Obamas, Clintons and those above them made some terrible decisions annexing Musk & JFK

MAGA I believe will be disappointed over the next 4 years.
they will find out that Trump is in the pocket of those funding the middle east genocide just like the majority of politicians

and that FAUCI and his crew will not face crimes against humanity, Trump still thinks his vaccine is beautiful.

MAGA will rejoice at the nothing burgers like winning his court cases and suing fake journalists.

I was going to finish by saying the next 4 years will be interesting but it won't, it'll just be 4 more years of s**t

Do you actively want Trumpism to succeed?

A war on migrants, 'drill, baby, drill', a love-in with Putin (like last time), playing poodle to Netanyahu (like last time), enriching Donald Trump, fleecing his gullible MAGA followers ('donate, baby, donate'), trade tariffs to destroy even more UK jobs (and jobs in other parts of the world - let's not get parochial), and all the rest....

For someone who claimed to have been a Respect member (or supporter) in the past, your political trajectory is impressive - but not in a good way!

I don't think anyone will come to you to draft a balanced summary of his government Jon, but sure, want the US to succeed, just as I do every country.

I just checked and the UK added a million jobs under his last presidency too (up until Covid) so I'm not even sure your analysis is correct there.

There is no war on migrants but most people want return to far more normal levels of migration.

Netanyahu has done what he's done under Biden and Hamas did what they did under Biden (there is far more history to it of course..)

Drill baby drill..its China you want to chastise on that. The world is burning more coal than ever. The West is just sending everything eastwards in that respect.

If your analysis was correct - which it isn't - the American people wouldn't have reelected him.

So yeah, I do want a strong, stable and successful United States, whomever is in charge.
