I was directly in line with the defensive line for the disallowed goal. Yates wasn't offside from the knock down but the player who headed it to him was offside from the free kick. In fact a few of them were.

Thanks Bob, it must be nice to be able to find some positives to write about again.
I found the second half a great reminder of the power of momentum in football: the timing of their keeper going down for a few minutes that effectively killed off our momentum as we pushed for a goal and then, as we were really pushing again later for the killer goal, the strange decision by us to make substitutions before the corner was taken that seemed to take an age and effectively killed the momentum again. Live and learn, I hope.
Also, I have never liked managers changing the game by "going defensive" to try and close out a game (was it is the Stoke play-off when Earnie was taken off to see out the game and it all went pear-shaped, or is my memory really shot?) We were doing ok, pushing forwards, it could have cost us, but, luckily it didn't.

Someone who no doubt will attract interest from lots of clubs if Derby do return to League 1.

I was interested in Warne's post match comments. Most of it reasonable, although I do think their offside goal was offside.
Another thing was reckoned 55 points would be needed to avoid relegation. He may have been saying it for effect, but looking at the closeness of the bottom half and current points, with teams taking points off each other. I think 46 -48 may be enough.

Judging by the freeze frame on the extended highlights on Sky, VAR would have taken about ten minutes to sort it out. It looked like Robinson (I think) may have been playing the Derby guy onside, but there was inches in it.

I think Cashin is the type of player we could have been looking at while Derby were in League One, I remember being impressed by him when we beat them 1-0 in their relegation season.

A good summary. Throughout the 1st half all I could think was how sloppy [also] and careless City were as a whole, though Ng in particular. Two things that continue to stand out for me. First, just how lucky we are to have Callum Robinson. He's not PL calibre but he's certainly a very good striker/attacking midfielder at this level. Secondly, we do not have one quality player in our midfield, and I'm afraid that includes Robertson. No-one who can dictate play, take hold of a scruffy and untidy spell of football and get things moving as well as those around him. 2nd half we definitely went up a gear, but if we had gone in at half time 2 down, we could have had few complaints..

I think that the midfield has improved since Callum Chambers was moved in there.
