Think I need to clarify one or two things, I had two or three e-mails from Jon in which he gave me permission to start a thread on the subject and he predicted, rightly, how it was likely to pan out on here . I sometimes peruse the Bristol City Forum (otib.co.uk).
I remember whoever was running that website stating that they had set the 'preferences field' to exclude certain global regions from being able to log in.
I don't know if Mike has a similar setting on this website?

Hi all. Still in Thailand but just moved from Phuket where CCMB was unobtainable, and now further up the coast it has returned! How good is that?

As Paul said, the thread went where I expected. I was just joking with him that the reason for the CCMB blackout must have been something bad in Thai eyes: porn, republicanism, bad karma!

Maybe the authorities just did a random sample and landed on a Truthpaste post? That would explain and justify a week long sin binning.

After so long of unadulterated ***** and the Colonel with no relief (stop it - there’s been enough smut already) I am happy to be back with my go-to board and catching up on the wit and insight I missed.

Not sure why certain areas / connections are blocked. Jon obviously had troble in Thailand, another user can't get in on their home network but can everywhere else and i have a client wifi that does not allow ccmb but allows all other websites.

It's not deliuberate, certainly not on my part.

it used to be blocked on my work intranet - and gave the reason sports/betting. now it no longer is
