Exactly. We weren't here, so we have no idea how we would have fared with such changes. Similar changes from now on could have disastrous effects on human life.
We've had extremes of hot and cold, and none of them were caused by humans.
Climate change is coming whether we like it or not. Even if it isn't man-made, with our sophisticated, mainly urban existence (68% of the world population of 10 billion in 2050 will live in cities) the impact will be huge.
People would have to be deluded to think that they could change anything. Either that, or it's a depopulation agenda.

Luckily there are peer reviewed scientists who have been prepared to go through archives and records in library's and the like, to evidence cycles of climate change, i dont think that the many despised middle aged grey haired white males disagree with climate change, its probably just anthropogenic climate change change that becomes the focus of disagreement, and its possibly more to do with their lived life experience rather than being a right wing loon.
