Just like Wales rugby, Swansea City.
Absolute shite.
Yes best forget the last 7/8 games and just overreact to this one away at the top of the table team!
Shocking result that does undermine the run we've been on, but forget today. It's been a good run of form so hopefully they won't dwell on it
This Leeds team would be between bottom half and at the very best mid-table of the Premier League.
Anyone with half a brain would be concerned how this defeat will affect the side going forward. The next league game is a huge match at Portsmouth who are very useful at home. I’m not too confident.
RIZA has been getting too cocky and big for his boots. Lying about the number of unbeaten games im his press conference and that self indulgent social media post about Meite. Hes won a SWD and thinks hes untouchable. He will be back down to earth tonight and wants to hope Tam doesn’t react to such a pathetic defeat.
To be fair another chance to get another thread titled "the sinking ship that is...." was too good to pass up LOL.
Didnt see the game but funny thing is, many were saying just go for it rather than shut up shop.from the getgo![]()
Perhaps that was Riza's brief (playing O'Dowda over Bagan for example).and he got burned. Rather he did it this week than next.
"Look out Pompey, Pompey look out!!"
(Edit: take the draw now)
Brighton lost 7 nil to Forest today. That shocked me more than our score.
We've had a good couple of weeks but back to earth with a massive bump.
Next few league games are massive.
7-0 is embrassing and shouldn't have happened. However, as Nathan Blake said on call Rob last night this type of result happens and all you can do is put your hands up and work in training to put things right.
Also if we were losing 7-0 every week there would be good reason to throw the toys out of the pram. ATM it is a one off amongst some very good recent results. Let's see the reaction.
Maybe a relief that our next match is in the Cup, give us a bit of breathing space. Might give the new boys, even Ramsey perhaps, a chance to blend in, rather than it being the original game, a home dog fight against Hull. I think I was more gutted last season at Elland Rd, surrendering a two goal lead, yesterday we were never in it.(stating the bleeding obvious).
Okay, now the dust has settled, I'm still pretty annoyed at the manner of the defeat to Leeds, but let's be honest, we all had it down as an away defeat before the game kicked off. They're top, while we're struggling (albeit on an unbeaten run), AND we were away from home, so barring some sort of freak result, a defeat was always on the cards. That said, while at 2-0 at half time things didn't look too bad, it all fell apart after that. There's no doubt that some strange substitutions didn't help, but seven-nil is a drubbing in anyone's language. Their speed, movement and passing was just too much for us.
But we have to just forget it. We're not good enough to compete at the top end of the table, but we knew that anyway, so now we have to concentrate on what's around us. Big defeats can upset the confidence of teams, and that's what they need to be working on at the moment. Knuckle down, and get back into the sort of form we had before the Leeds game. Beating Stoke would be a good start.
