My sort of 1st recollections of it being pushed hard would, be the very early 80's with ACID RAIN, i was working in Curran road at the time, a stone throw away from the foundry I remember it well as a few of us took a case to the foundry about the emissions coming out of their stack and ruining the paintwork on our cars, we were after a free respray after months of back and forth, we had to settle for them to supply oxalic acid to clean the cars, the Foundry management adamant that it was acid rain causing the paint damage, there was no chance a bunch of welders with not a pot to piss in could afford any legal action, the company we worked for weren't really interested, they just had new cars every 18 months or so, it was not a biggie to them!!!. But doing a bit more reading tonight, it was big in the early 70's i'd have only been around 10 then so TBH cannot remember anything about it then as t wouldn't have interested me. it appears it was ramped up throughout the 80's and subsequently 90,s, then naughties through to the present day and its just bonkers now the extreme faaaaar left have gotten a strangle hold on the education system, i'd put it as child abuse with the (IMO) propaganda the kids are being fed by the glue yourself to the road, and destroy the paintings brigade. on this topic there has been no greater example of child abuse that that of Greta, I dare say she's a well meaning young girl but for me she has been used by the extremists to further the climate cause. I have no issue at all with climate change it will always change, if records are to be believed we have had a minimum of 5 ice ages, which would suggest well get another one one day.

1971 - we have 10 years left for this prediction

    1980 - Acid Rain
    08a - 1980.jpg
1990 - Acid rain change of opinion
    08b - 1990.jpg
2000 - Children wont know what snow is
    15- 2000.jpg
2014 - 500 days to avoid climate Chaos

Just Sick to the back teeth of it, as you know, there is an abundance of material available that challenges the official narrative but, the scientists who challenge the official narrative are essentially treated like the doctors who challenged the official Covid narrative.
I have a brilliant set of history encyclopedias in the attic, my wife brought them to Cardiff when she moved here over 40 years ago, and they were old then but in excellent condition, i keep forgetting to retrieve them on the weekends, they are full of climate stuff from back then and the years before.
So in a sentence 1980,s for me but the nonsense started before this.

I worked in industrial filtration for 15 years and have little doubt that Vehicle/aircraft/industrial equipment emissions would have been sorted to almost 0 pollutants, when i left, the company had just started looking at Carbon capture systems/equipment which 20 years on has advanced significantly, I think the problem with industrial filtration is that the biggest carbon polluters aren't interested and just ignore it anyway. i'll not be convinced that its something that cannot be overcome if everyone was on board with finding real workable solutions, and its just a tax take to the rich stamping on the John and Jane Doughs of this world, the overlords despise us, useless eaters i think is the phrase or in CCMB speak "right wing white old men."

Could the UK actually get colder with global warming?

    Just to cover all bases
This isn't a new theory. I think I was at school when I had a short period of obsession with the concept of desalination and the effect that would have on currents and ultimately the climate of the UK. Whenever I have told people about it they look at me like I'm insane.

If we all stop flying, using any gas, Cars, don't eat meat, take all the measures needed, then the Kiribati Islands will remain for an extra 30 minutes before being swollowed up by the Central Pacific Ocean, so do your bit.
