Bottom three all playing this evening
Plymouth 2 - 0 Millwall
Burnley 1 - 0 Hull
Bristol City 1 - 0 Stoke
Sunderland 1 - 0 Luton
Around 14 mins played in all above games
Plymouth get an own goal and a pen inside 10 mins….you get the feeling they are going to get out of jail here….
Plymouth 3 - 0 Millwall
Latest: Plymouth 4 - 0 Millwall
Last home game: Plymouth 1 - 0 Liverpool
Curr home game: Plymouth 4 - 0 Millwall (latest)
Next home game: Plymouth v Cardiff
Plymouth will be fine, a good managerial appointment and some good signings in the window.
Next three homes are Cardiff, Sheff Wed and Derby. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s 9 points.
At least Stoke, Hull, Luton and Swansea are all losing
Jacks lose 0 - 1 and had a last kick goal ruled out for offisde
Plymouth 5 - 1 winners
Stoke, Hull and Luton all lose
Luton now bottom of the table
I defy anyone to predict with certainty who goes down this year.
Complete lottery.
Leaving aside their FA Cup victory over Liverpool, Plymouth's last three league results were:
2 - 2 v Sunderland (A)
2 - 1 v West Brom (H)
5 - 1 v Millwall (H)
That's an impressive turnaround after their 5-0 defeat to Burnley. It's also a bit strange as, according to some experts, the bottom teams in the Championship aren't supposed to pick up any points against the top teams. Nevertheless, Plymouth drew at Sunderland (4th) and beat West Brom (6th).
That's sure to blow some minds, although in fairness though minds were tiny to begin with.
