    Re: Dai Hunt

Had one season where his Season Ticket was about 6 rows in front and 10 seats across. Funny for the first 3 mins. ****ing annoying for the next 87. Was glad when hed been moved on to terrorise another block the next season.

I'm sure this has happened before, including someone posting about how upset he is.

He wouldn't last very long in a Peter Kay gig

Everyone knows his bark is worse than his bite.
CCFC is his life. He tends to speak quite elequantly on the radio.

It's an overreaction IMHO. I like quirky people

Try sitting behind him as I did for a season on the Bob Bank! I still wake up screaming at the memories. Seriously though, I wish I had asked to be moved. The guy sounds quite normal on the radio compared to his stadium persona. Two completely different people.

Someone should ban Wayne Nash from CCS. …completely out of his depth, get him back on the mowers asap.

I wouldnt have minded him so much if he knew how to speak at a decibel level that wasnt the equivalent of a jet engine. Hed turn around to speak to the people behind him and it would be full on shouting.

    Re: Dai Hunt

    He's not a bad bloke.

Away from all things CCFC, he collects Heinz Ketchup bottles from across the eras and has a whole wall dedicated to them.

He also has a collection of photos on another wall dedicated to Shirley Bassey, and to a lesser extent, Elizabeth Taylor.

Try sitting next to him for a season in the Bob Bank you potentially might have been behind me.

Just the one season and we moved further back

If he collects pictures of elizabeth taylor then he's not totally daft

    Re: Dai Hunt

Dai Hunt is what I imagine Sludge is like.

How is he supposed to get to the ground if he is banned from the car park? Zip wire?

Is he banned from the stadium as well?

    Re: Dai Hunt

    I often see him.
He's considerate and affable when I've met him while cycling and I wind him up on the bus if I see him.
He's loud and oblivious to onlookers, and I'd hate to be seated near him at a match, but he's harmless.
I don't know whether Nash had warned him first, but this action seems harsh.

    Re: Dai Hunt

Sounds like a Wayne Nash power trip over a vulnerable individual. Not a good look.

Dai Hunt has a private helicopter that will land him on the pitch 5 minutes before kick off, thus avoiding the wrath of Wayne Nash lol.

I'm sure Dai lines up by the barrier before every home game, where the players go into the stadium, and yells "advice" at them. I know some players find him funny, Kav for instance. Others probably see him as a general nuisance and I can well imagine they would want him removed. Yes, he's harmless to us, we know him and tolerate to a certain extent his behaviour. However, players wound up for a big game might not appreciate the "advice" he is yelling at them. I'm pretty sure he was banned a few seasons ago from the stadium for a few games, for giving his sage like opinion and thoughts to one of our keepers at the top of his voice outside the stadium prior to klick off, who had a bit of stinker in their previous match. Can't for the life of me remember who it was now. Someone with a better memory than me will know.

he does, I walked past with my daughter and we saw a few players walking in last year, and fist bumping / signing autographs for the kids then you have Dai shouting at them, really unless info

    but

in todays caring and sharing society, he really shouldn't be ridiculed or banned, the guy isnt the full ticket and lets say is " quirky " but he is a City fan who is with us through the good times and the bad, so thats good enough for me

    Re: Dai Hunt

Dai was NOT banned for shouting at players.

In this instance, Wayne was quite right in banning him.

He's not harmless and was not banned for shouting.

It was a bit more sinister than that.

I am not a fan of Wayne Nash, but from what I know, Wayne had no option but to give him a ban

Interesting comments. I've known Dai since Whitchurch Comp as we were in the same year. He has always come across as a bit of nuisance, but harmless nevertheless. Can you elaborate on what he was alleged to have done?

I'm not at liberty to say, sorry.

If you really want to find out ask the club.

My interjection on the thread was to just point out he was not banned for shouting or abusing players.
