    Re: Dai Hunt

    I often see him.
He's considerate and affable when I've met him while cycling and I wind him up on the bus if I see him.
He's loud and oblivious to onlookers, and I'd hate to be seated near him at a match, but he's harmless.
I don't know whether Nash had warned him first, but this action seems harsh.

Sounds like a Wayne Nash power trip over a vulnerable individual. Not a good look.

Dai Hunt has a private helicopter that will land him on the pitch 5 minutes before kick off, thus avoiding the wrath of Wayne Nash lol.

I'm sure Dai lines up by the barrier before every home game, where the players go into the stadium, and yells "advice" at them. I know some players find him funny, Kav for instance. Others probably see him as a general nuisance and I can well imagine they would want him removed. Yes, he's harmless to us, we know him and tolerate to a certain extent his behaviour. However, players wound up for a big game might not appreciate the "advice" he is yelling at them. I'm pretty sure he was banned a few seasons ago from the stadium for a few games, for giving his sage like opinion and thoughts to one of our keepers at the top of his voice outside the stadium prior to klick off, who had a bit of stinker in their previous match. Can't for the life of me remember who it was now. Someone with a better memory than me will know.

he does, I walked past with my daughter and we saw a few players walking in last year, and fist bumping / signing autographs for the kids then you have Dai shouting at them, really unless info

          but

in todays caring and sharing society, he really shouldn't be ridiculed or banned, the guy isnt the full ticket and lets say is " quirky " but he is a City fan who is with us through the good times and the bad, so thats good enough for me

            Re: Dai Hunt

Dai was NOT banned for shouting at players.

In this instance, Wayne was quite right in banning him.

He's not harmless and was not banned for shouting.

It was a bit more sinister than that.

I am not a fan of Wayne Nash, but from what I know, Wayne had no option but to give him a ban

Interesting comments. I've known Dai since Whitchurch Comp as we were in the same year. He has always come across as a bit of nuisance, but harmless nevertheless. Can you elaborate on what he was alleged to have done?

                  What did he do then?

                    Yeah, why so cryptic?

This thread has been interesting and fun up until now - why don’t you elaborate?

I'm not at liberty to say, sorry.

If you really want to find out ask the club.

My interjection on the thread was to just point out he was not banned for shouting or abusing players.

I read that there was an unsavoury incident last August in the club shop, but nothing about recent incidents

Because it involves other people affected by his behaviour.. not players btw.
