We've had decent away support this season tbf, 1,400 to Portsmouth on a Tuesday, sold out away end this weekend for instance so there's probably quite a few who've done 1

If you go on the ticketing website it shows 4 blocks sold out

I'd imagine they're holding back tickets to go on sale tomorrow though, they give a list of how many seats are left in each block and its about 1,000 total, I find it very hard to believe we sold 5k.

Looks like I was wrong, took a quick look earlier and there's only ~200 left

How the hell do you allocate someone to your account to buy tickets if you don’t have their email address?

Currently on line to ticket office. 23 minutes and waiting.

I think you have to add them as a friend. They get an email and they have to accept. This happens just once

The appetite for the big games is quite something.

Dad went down the ticket office this morning to find it closed

Sold out. Although apparently we didnt take the full allocation?

Re: 5th round draw - ASTON VILLA away

5,500 I believe, if they are all gone

I’d imagine we could shift another 1,000 based on the speed this allocation was sold ?

Easily. ~4 hours to sell whatever was left and open to all ST holders and members. Definitely wouldve sold 1000 more in the next week.

The club are losing out on valuable cash flow making this decision, I appreciate they may be on a sale no return but they will trouser 150 k or more from television and radio rights for this game alone

Apparently every unsold ticket wouldve had to have been paid for. So for the sake of 25k weve cut the allocation by 1000.

Probably more like 15k as 45% of gate receipts go to us.

Bonkers decision, hopefully the club can ask Villa for the remainder unless theyre on sale to home fans.

Surely this is a police decision rather than CCFC. Doesnt make any sense, as Villa can't sell the tickets to anyone else because of the layout of the ground. Sale and return is usually used to sell the tickets to the home fans.

From what I've seen the first 5/10 rows behind the goal have never gone on sale on eticketing so I'm guessing that is where the surplus is.

First 7 rows in the upper stand are “netted”

If it isnt a police issue, which Id be surprised if it was, Id be disappointed if the club dont contact Villa and ask for those rows to be made available.

Looks like it might be reduced to 5 rows

Tottenham had and sold 6,521 tickets with no netting or rows made unavailable for sale

Sadly Jills looks have deteriorated somewhat at 81, added to her Alzheimer's , she probably wont be there for a cup game.

More chance of her being there than Sandy. He died in 1981.
