Solme thing like that - I didn't see it, that's what my dad told me.
I was there and it was a magical occasion but for me it was eclipsed by our efforts in getting to the 1968 ECWC semis. Making the last four in the company of AC Milan, Hamburg and Bayern Munich still makes me feel proud.
My first ever game, Hamburg at home (I know, 'plastic fan').
I was just 7 years old and stood on the Bob Bank, desperately trying to cling on to the hand of an older family friend.
It was my second season in watching the City and probably the greatest result I have seen in beating, probably, the most famous name in European football.
However, in the cold light of reality it was far from a great Madrid team and we were knocked out after losing the second leg.
Then again since when did reality really trouble any football supporter and it will remain as one of my, if not the best, memory of watching this club.
