    Does it matter?

I find him the most refreshing manager weve had media wise for some time barring Neil Warnock.

Its his tactics and naivety is the thing we should concern ourselves with.

They have no chance. Blackburn have picked up one point in four games under Ismael. I said earlier in the week that his arrival gave me hope that City could get something today. Its a bizarre appointment, similar to Swansea appointing Duff. Id be livid if I was a Rovers fan.

Alves is my new favourite, Ashford can do one.....I never rated him anyway.... In all seriousness (if that's possible anymore) good three points

Didn't expect that after 1st half. Introducing pace made a big difference. Meite was a revelation.

That was a vital win but are still in deep trouble with Derby and Oxford winning again and Luton and Hull both picking up points.

Yeah was a thread a week ago with a couple of posters (who are in this thread) saying we would stay up simply as derby or Luton wouldn't go on any type of run

Derby have got 9 points in a week since then and Luton got 7 points in last 4.

Great result today and much needed. We need to get ourselves above Stoke I feel to avoid the drop. Their last three games are Leeds, Sheff Utd and then Derby on the last day although Derby should be comfortably safe by then.

Shout out to the die-hard supporters who kept believing and singing throughout the match.

Why should Derby be comfortably safe??

Re: FT: BLACKBURN ROVERS 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

After the past week, fifty points might be the target again. I was thinking three more wins would see us safe after the Hull game, but it looks we still need three now. A vital win today, but it’s still annoying that it needs performances like Oxford and Tuesday to get this team to get the away wins that we’d been able to get pretty consistently even when we’ve been struggling in previous seasons.

I’d say beating Stoke ourselves is pretty key, as us actually winning a home game. Oxford too….are we better away?
