    Cardiffian world champion

Jeremiah Azu - European and now World indoor 60m champion. Grew up in Llanishen I think.

Seriously quick - just like watching Cardiff City...

European Champion, World Champion and a new baby aswell.
He's had quite a start to the year and it's great to see him recover from the disappointment of last years Olympics.

a guy I know who is involved with athletics in Cardiff mentioned him before and said he used to play for City as well, but had to make a choice between football and athletics.
I don't ever recall the name being mentioned so I suppose it must have been a younger age group

There's a quote on an article linked to from his Wikipedia page that says "I did play football at a fairly high level, but it was athletics that won over", so could have done.
