Indeed they beat Armenia home and away in the recent nations league which was beyond us and they drew with both England and Italy at home in the qualifiers for the 24 Euros so are definitely no mugs

I'd be very happy with a draw at the moment. I think the loss of Amapdu and Wilson will be felt more in this game.
On paper it's a good team for a counterattack,but that also does depend on who Bellamy actually picks!

Kazakhstan's players did the same. VAR should be used to stamp out the play acting. Cards for feigning injury would soon cut it out

That’s a great idea. If doesn’t even have to be during the match. Just have it report back the day after. Anyone diving is suspended for a game. VAR would actually have a use then.

I was at the England game tonight- I was offered a free ticket so went along. At some point the game got stopped for 2-3 mins while VAR checked for a penalty (I think) that nobody seemed to spot or care about. It wasn’t given. An already shit atmosphere, killed by a pointless intervention. My group had a few kids in it and stuff like that really kills any excitement.

It's embarrassing watching the replays, and nothing has touched their head or face...and they're laying there getting treated.
