Similar game to the one against us, they took a long time to break down a seriously injury hit Preston, but have now added a second one and are looking comfortable. Preston missed a good chance in the first half, but that’s about it really - Villa don’t need the ref favouring them all of the time, but, of course, the the Premier League ref has been doing that.

Now 3-0, I suppose if Bournemouth beat Man City, it’ll be good to have some different teams contesting the Semi Finals, I’ll be wanting Bournemouth or Palace to win it from now on.

Superb ball by David Brooks helps put Bournemouth ahead after Harland had a penalty saved and missed what could be called a sitter.

If Bournemouth or Crystal Palace win the Cup it will be a new name on the FA Cup and will make our win a tiny bit less important in the great "Venn diagram of trophies"....

Let's face it, Man City will win the cup. We get this excitement from time to time and the final ends up between Liverpool and Chelsea (or some such). Hope I'm wrong but football sold its soul and Satan is a plastic glory hunter.

Well, Man City have been comfortably the better side in this game. I was very disappointed with Brighton last night and it’s the same with Bournemouth here - I’ve seen both teams play a lot better than this during the season and you’d have thought they would have targeted the Cup as a competition they could win based on the campaigns they’ve both had.
