I said in the week, performances don't matter now, just results. Someone had to stand up and be counted, they couldn't today. We're gone, this is the worst side we've ever had at this level by a mile.

In the last few years we've had sides that struggled to put a passing movement together yet paradoxically this side is far worse than any of them, despite the pretence of being a side full of 'footballers'..

Ashford is young, but i'd say that he's probably done enough to show us that he's likely capable at this level, the others aren't young anymore, so i presume you mean the young players on the edge of it?

Kpakio, Giles, Lawlor, etc, but I also mean Isaak Davies who we’ve barely seen in recent seasons, Ashford. Fish and Bagan, hopefully playing in a team that isn’t in relegation trouble.

It's not just that, it's how we're spending it. We're spending large sums on players who just aren't good enough.

Everybody hates a micromanager for a boss, but at least that boss knows what is going on. Tan is the style of boss that might actually be worse, which is hands off and disconnected and knows very little about the day to day running of the business but still wants control over the major decisions that decide the direction of the entire enterprise.

It wouldn't have been offside if the penalty was given. The offside was when the ball ran through to the player who was miles off after the tackle. To be fair, I thought we had a decent shout when Salech was wrestled down in the second half, but that was a stonewaller.
