Go for the six-pointer at home to Oxford?
We struggle with two games close, do you think we should try a weaker team to try and beat Oxford?
Concentrate everything on Preston, Stoke, and Oxford then see where they are?
It has been done in the past by some teams and Managers.
I suppose we could lose the next two, then we'd have to go for bust, but if we win them both?
No.
They lost to Oxford on Saturday and are there for the taking!
No, we really can't afford to write off any match.
I don't think he will go as far as reserves, but I reckon he will rest quite a few for Oxford, time will tell.
Do you realise we have 6 games left?
Play the reserves against Oxford, they might actually try and win a game.
Don't you get fined for fielding a weakened team in the league?
Given the selection changes for each game Im not really sure who is a first team or reserve team player
It's not a suggestion, it's a question, and it happens regularly with many teams throughout the season.
They work out where their best focus should be with two games close together. I would imagine some players will be rested, obviously not the full reserve team, but Riza has changed teams for close together games already.
Its got to the stage that the main team and fringe players are no different. He could change the lot and not be worse/better off. Oh apart from AEG of course.
Did Oxford play their reserves against Sheffield United and give up before they started?
No they didn't.
All Riza has to do is tell the squad this is a 3rd round FA cup game. 3 points are there for the taking.
Agree, who is a nailed on starter at this point... Horvath as the only senior keeper, O'Dowda, Salech, probably Mannsverk, Ashford probably should be but isn't in Riza's mind... who else?
For comedy effect we could start with Meite, AEG, Willock, and get Kanga back on emergency loan,
