As a catholic I'm a little dissapointed that i never made the effort to go and see Pope John Paul II at Ninian park in 1982 and I'm not sure why, i used to work away from home around 8 months at the time during the 80's and it may have been i was elsewhere. I tend to think that Religion comforts generally older people who might not get to socialise, (say because their partner is no longer with them) it connects them with those in a similar position but not forgetting that many are true believers and its a way of life, life goes on, it's CCMB tradition to knock out a bit of "banter" when someone of this stature dies, Insider's "Rambo gets the managers job and this happens" wins easily thus far.
