18 years I reckon.

Too many.
Ill go for 2 seasons before Tan pulls all funding and we drop down to League 2 on minus 6 points overall.
Depends if we get shot of everyone above the manager who has gradually ruined the club we all love. Would be nice to have people in place who actually know their way to the stadium.
One. Pre-season optimism starts now.
I'll go for three. One where we get learnt, one where we get organized and one where we get back up.
At least until Tan leaves. I have no confidence in him spending money on players or a decent manager.
The same issues will continue in League 1 unless we have a change of leadership at all levels.
One. Two at the most.
Three. We'll get promoted with Warnock.![]()
If we continue to serve up dog shite on the pitch expect freefall. Look at Wrexham and how their owners engage with the fans and our owner who doesn't. We need a massive change 'cos we are so fubar!
We've got a squad that, with the right manager and a few decent signings (with a couple of on-field leaders), could do well in League One next season.
Yeah, I know - Tan, Dalman, Choo, another poor managerial appointment, blah blah blah - but I'm not going to wallow in the misery of an appointment that hasn't been made yet. Of course, if they make a mess of things yet again we'll struggle, but I don't believe it will take much to turn things around in League One.
I suggest that the opening sentence contains all of the significant points on which fortunes will depend.
League 1 promotion contenders tend to have many characteristics we are lacking.
I admire your optimism. I dont share it given our track record over recent years, when the problems have been glaringly obvious but nothing has been done to resolve them.
Nobody can know how well do next season, if as expected we fall through the trap door next week. Until we see the new permanent managerial appointment and new signings its impossible to know, though going on my experience of following City for many yrs, and my gut feeling, Im not expecting much.
I think we could come straight back up as champions.
Portsmouth got 97 points last season, Derby 92, And Oxford went up through the playoffs with 77 points.
it is a completely different kettle of fish to the championship
Only one of the 3 relegated sides from last season are even in the playoffs.
We're going to have to hit on some transfers, we desperately need some pace and someone that knows what they're doing at the back. We're also going to have a lot of poor players that don't want to be here.
