Of course it was possible for a keeper to have saved it if he happened to have been stood in the right area of the goal. Anyone can save anything if they are positioned where the shot goes.
However, on this occasion Horvath was completely blameless. His starting position was fine. It was just a brilliant strike. No keeper saves that.

Fair enough. I thought it was one of the best strikes I've ever seen live and all the talk afterwards was about it being an incredible effort. You're the only person I've read or heard who has suggested Horvath was somehow at fault. Although he's made some very good saves this season, I'm not in the least bit convinced by him, especially when he has the ball at his feet, but he had no chance with this one.

There is the line used by outfield football pundits who talk about how no keeper should be beaten by a shot from thirty yards or further out - Oxfords goal showed that argument to be wrong, i dont blame Horvarth at all for that goal and I dont think the wall did much wrong.
