Are you saying there's no chance that Horvath could save that because he's shit? Or that it's not possible for anyone to have saved that?

Of course it was possible for a keeper to have saved it if he happened to have been stood in the right area of the goal. Anyone can save anything if they are positioned where the shot goes.

However, on this occasion Horvath was completely blameless. His starting position was fine. It was just a brilliant strike. No keeper saves that.

Fair enough. I thought it was one of the best strikes I've ever seen live and all the talk afterwards was about it being an incredible effort. You're the only person I've read or heard who has suggested Horvath was somehow at fault. Although he's made some very good saves this season, I'm not in the least bit convinced by him, especially when he has the ball at his feet, but he had no chance with this one.

Horvath did indeed have no chance. Zero. Nil. It was a brilliant strike, very powerful and swerving away from the keeper from the moment it was hit. He had no chance whatsoever.

It looked like a tired challenge from Mannswerk at the time - but I haven't seen it again since.

The wall didn't react well to the ball being rolled to the side for the player to hit. That's why the goal was conceeded.
