I liked Meite as a person but he just wasnt effective for us. Maybe not the same after his injury.
Ill wish him well.
At least we can look forward to the threads on here after he has scored a few goals against us and is top scorer for reading and people saying we should have kept him.
Amazingly, Meite is only 29. I reckon he probably will be able to do a reasonable job for someone in League One. Unfortunately, however, we signed him while we were in the Championship.

Sad to say that knee injury took a big toll on him.

he wasnt picked in the match day squad, so didnt travel which is the norm, Reading had asked " friends of the club " ( I see Sav went aswell ( though his son was playing )) to go and celebrate the takeover, Yak got the train to reading early morning
