My player ratings for the season based on min 10 appearances

Horvath 2 - very disappointing, brought in because heÂ’s good with his feet but that seemed like a weaker part of his game.
Alnwick 6 - okay, adequate keeper, much better than Horvath
NG 3 - no idea what happened to him this season, his performances dropped off a cliff compared to previous seasons
Daland 2 - fantastic performance in his first appearance against Swansea then gradually got worse. Seemed to have difficulty coping with the physicality of the Championship. Very disappointing signing if the reported transfer fee was true
Fish 3 - some okay performances when he first came in the side but also seemed to struggle with the physicality of side of the game
Goutas 3 - another whose performances dropped off this season. Looked like the strong physical defender we needed at times but nearly always made a calamitous mistake
Chambers 2 as a centre half , 5 as a defensive midfielder. Awful as a defender, better in a few games in a midfield role, another very disappointing signing
OÂ’Dowda 5 - not as influential this season but works hard and thereÂ’s still a decent player in there
Bagan 3 - as a defender he seemed okay, none of the 3 managers really fancied him though
Siopis 3 - best performance from him was for Greece against England. A midfielder who had no goals, no assists and no telling passes
Turnbull 3 - a very brief spell when he looked good but was injured a lot and ineffectual on his return to the side
Ramsey 3 - injury prone and little influence in the games he did play
Ralls 3 - an underrated player at times but too injury prone now, not sure if he has another season in him
Mannsverk 3 - disappointing loan signing , little impact
Robertson 3 - another disappointing signing, expected more from him
Rinomhota 5 - a limited player who was not good enough for us last season but was one of our better players this year says it all about this season
Colwill 4 - been done to death, what surprised me was to read he made the most appearances of any player this season and was 3rd top scorer, though 4 of his 5 goals were in the cups and top for assists.
El Ghazi 0 - waste of a wage and a shirt
Willock 3 - I was pleased with his signing at the time but another big disappointment
Tanner 2 - injured a lot and little impact on the games when he came on as a sub
Ashford 6 - some very good performances and some not so good but overall a positive first full season
Meite 3 - no lack of effort but lack of effectiveness
Alves 3 - flattered to deceive
I Davies 3 - another player who seems very injury prone, little impact this season
Kanga 0 - tempted to give a minus mark, one of the worst players in recent seasons and thatÂ’s a low bar!
Robinson 6 - decent goal return but again injury prone and some very ineffective performances too
Salech 8 - been a great signing and the strong physical presence up front weÂ’ve been missing

Tanner doesn't deserve to be lower than Chambers, Meite and Willock. Id give them all 2 and Tanner 4.

I think some of your ratings are a little harsh, though I agree Kanga should probably get a minus score, clearly did not want to be here.

Wouldn't go as far to give El-Ghazi a 0, probably a 1 and a half, he had a couple of decent games, but was mostly very poor.

Think I'd give Ashford a 5, Tanner a 3.

I think these are extremely harsh in a lot of cases, you'd expect a team with so many players rated as 3/10 to have finished on like 20 points or something.
yes it was a shit season, but let's not go over the top.

Alnwick 6
Horvarth 4 - too many errors
Ng - 5 (poor start but improved throughout the season)
Daland - 2 - just wouldn't happen for him
Fish - 5.5. was our best defender by the end of the season
Goutas 4 started the season as our. best defender, couldn't get a game by the end
Chambers 4 - mostly for performances in midfield
O'dowda - 7 genuine 2-way fullback, one of our most effective attacking outlets
Bagan - 5 - had some decent games in defence
siopis - 4
Turnbull -4 not helped by injuries
Ramsey 3
Ralls 3
Mannsverk 5
Robertson 5 - inconsistent as you would expect from a youngster , but had some good performances
Rinomhota - 5 , did OK as a fullback initially, but started to become a bit targeted, was probably our best midfielder in the last 2 home games.
Colwill 4.5 - had a period where he was often our best player, and gaining compliments from the opposition regularly. less and less effective as the season went on, seems to have lost all confidence
El Ghazi - 3. clearly not up for a relegation scrap
Willock 4
Tanner 4 - started well but looked terrible after the injury
Ashford - 5.5. a breath of fresh air when he first got in the team. didn't play well towards the end of the season.

Sell Horvath, Ng, Daland, Chambers, Turnbull, Willock, Robinson, Wintle, Evans and Etete. Let the contracts of the others expire.

I couldn't disagree with any of that. Truly a season of inept performances from the players on the pitch. They should be ashamed with the levels of effort they've shown this season. Hopefully they'll make amends next season.
