Big ask for the Gunners, but not beyond their reach. Dembele on the bench helps.

Apparently Arsenal are the best team in the competition according to Arteta.

Someone pointed out earlier that Erik ten Haag won more trophies in 2 years at United than Arteta has in 5 years at Arsenal.

He's undoubtedly improved Arsenal and they're a decent team, but coming out with deluded nonsense like that speaks volumes about why Arsenal keep falling short.

F**king boring team to watch as well, reliant on set pieces and the odd bit of quality from Saka.

    I saw that.

Maybe he believes if you beat Real you are the winners. Podcast I was listening to the other week had a spurs fan on, was congratulating Arsenal on being the first team to win the PL in October and Champions league in mid April.

Beaten fairly over two legs I thought, surprised he can have many complaints. They started very well last night and should have been ahead, but couldn't finish, which is kind of the point of the game.

Inter and Barca have also been great.

I'd say Inter have been more streetwise than great, while Barca would be really great if they had a functioning backline.

Don't forget Rice pulling two free kicks from a mile up his arse on the biggest stage. He'd never scored one in nearly 300 career appearances before that.

I agree though, quite like Arsenal as a club but for the sake of the quality of the final was hoping it would be PSG. Arteta definitely a good manager and sympathize with some of the injuries he's had this year but equally, he's very much from the delusional nothing is my fault mould.
