    Play offs. 2nd legs

Starts tonight. One game a day for the rest of the week

    Sheff Utd (3) - Bristol City (0)

Big ask for the Wurzels to turn this one around.

Sheffield Wednesday beat Peterborough United 5–1, overcoming a 4–0 deficit in the first leg of the League One play-off semi-finals.
    Does lightening strike twice often?
Agree though, a very big ask 😉

I never rubber-neck at road accidents, but I can’t wait to see Bristol’s horror show continue tonight.

It all depends how often the cameras cut to their crestfallen faces in the crowd. That'll be 'TV Gold'.

Chanting "Ingerland Ingerland Inngerland" whilst 3-0 down to another English club was an interesting choice

    Anyway, 5-0 now

It would be generous to describe them as second best

FT: Sheff Utd 3 - 0 Bristol City

6 - 0 on agg. Biggest aggregate score in a play off semi final at this level.

Can’t stand the wurzels, but is there anyone on here who wouldn’t swap our season for theirs? They’ll be involved in any discussion about the worst team ever to reach the Play Offs, but at least they’ll be in the Championship next season - not sure this is really the time to be taking the piss out of them.

Reminds me of when we played West Ham in the playoffs, when we scraped into them.
We were nowhere near good enough in both legs.

Overshadowed by the announcement of the red debacle on the way back.
Cynically timed so there couldn't be a protest organised until the following season - when it was to late.

2012 lost 3-0 and 2-0, which was the highest aggregate score in the championship playoffs up to the 6-0 one last night.

Both teams lacked quality with the final shot or pass tonight so far but the other ccfc have probably put as many quality crosses into the box that half as we did all season.
